The projects below are a few that we have recently undertaken. These projects provide an insight into the abilities and professionalism of G.B Surfacing LTD.
Orwell Business Park
Working as a subcontractor, GB Surfacing supplied all labour plant and materials as well as our engineering expertise for the installation of the entrance roundabout and associated deep drainage. GB completed their works on time and in budget.
Kings Lynn High-street Rejuvenation
GB, as a subcontractor undertook the project of a full lift and relay of Kings Lynn High Street. Thus was as part of the city centre rejuvenation scheme.
Barking Train Station Roof Renewal
As a subcontractor to the principle contract, GB over the course of four nights replaced the failing roof at Barking Station. This work entailed installation of line blocks and was executed within an extremely tight deadline. All works were completed on time and were within budget.
Chelmer Valley 278 works
Working as a subcontractor, GB surfacing undertook the design and build of the 278 works and infrastructure improvements for the Beaulieu park estate. This work included footway constructions, carriageway constructions, installation of sign packages as well as attenuations and retaining wall features. We completed the works two weeks ahead of scheduled programme.
Chafford Hundred Plant Room C2C
GB as a multiskilled contractor, were employed as a subcontractor supplying all labour, plant and materials to undertake the construction of a new plant room for Chafford Hundred train station. All of the works were completed on time and were within budget.
Network Rail Staff Carpark Extension
As a subcontractor to the principle contract, GB designed and built an extension to the main car park at Barking Station. This work was undertaken whilst the carpark remained in use. The work was completed on budget and four weeks in advance of the programme timeframe.
